Jessica Cortez

Immunology researcher passionate about basic science and discovering pathways of disease. Driven by my own frustrations with the US healthcare system, I became interested in how digital health and good design can deliver a more pleasurable experience in managing chronic disease. I am inspired by new technologies that disrupt medicine in creative ways and help provide more efficient care. Similarly, as a trained researcher, I am curious about how technology is enabling advancements in biomedical science and how well designed visuals can be used as tools to effectively communicate scientific data.
