Jessica Wiggs

Jessica Wiggs is a recent graduate from Syracuse University with a degree in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications as well as English and Textual Studies with a minor degree in Spanish from the school of Arts and Sciences. Wanderlust is her middle name, especially after spending a semester abroad in London (read: traveling throughout Europe).

Jess is currently living the dream working at VegaRun, a PR firm in New York City. Before her final year of school she also interned with the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) where she was able to put her Newhouse education to use in the PR, Marketing and Communications position. She gained valuable experience through her other internships at Salt Hill Journal, Bethesda Magazine and Girls' Life Magazine.

Jessica’s time with the organization SOME (So Others Might Eat) has afforded her the opportunity to help people in all walks of life. She works as a crisis counselor for those suffering from mental illness, chronic homelessness and addiction. Her experiences with SOME have encouraged her passion for the nonprofit world of public relations.
