Future Professional in Communication Industry in New Jersey
I am a student at Montclair State University with an outstanding work ethic and a passion for career development studying communication, public relations and business. My career interests include public relations, marketing, journalism and related industries.
I am always eager to learn and acquire new skills, and I strive to be successful at any activity I choose to undertake. I am goal-oriented, dedicated and know I have a lot to offer any company I work with.
Currently, I am a public relations assistant at Amy Delman Public Relations, LLC. I am also the Assistant News Editor at The Montclarion, Montclair State's student news publication. I have also worked with Montclair State's Department of Students Communications and Sax Style boutique as a social media and web assistant and participated at Montclair State's radio station, 90.3 WMSC, on the news team. I am a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and the Alliance for Women in Media.
All of these positions have allowed me to develop skills and experience in areas such as content production and marketing, writing, interview skills, media relations, drafting press releases, media pitches, news articles, among other transferable skills which will help me succeed in future positions.
