Jessi Holmes

I am a recently graduated student of the University of Massachusetts Amherst currently living in Amherst, Massachusetts. I received a bachelor's degree in psychology while minoring in sociology and am very interested in a pursuing a counseling position. With the skills that I have gained through the many work and education opportunities I was given, I believe I would be an excellent fit for this position. My volunteering at soup kitchens and food drives, and working in positions with all different age groups with different needs such as babysitting and working at Shaw's grocery store, have provided me with the ability to remain patient and understanding of people and be able to work with all different types of people. My educational skills have provided me with the ability to understand what exactly is required of a counseling position and the processes I would go through to help individuals. My desire to help people better their mental states and ultimately, bettering their overall well being, also make me a good fit for a counseling position.
