Jessica Madden MD

I am a physician (Neonatologist), mother of 4, marathoner, yogi, and writer. I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2010 and I started my blog, The Patient Celiac, in 2012 to spread awareness and share up-to-date medical information about celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders. Through my page I have created a community of individuals interested in discussing and sharing celiac research, articles, stories, and opinions. I also provide support to the newly diagnosed. I am currently in clinical practice as a neonatologist in several NICUs in the greater Boston area. I am also a 2014 graduate of the Celiac Preceptorship at the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center and a member of the North American Society for the Study of Celiac Disease.
