Jesus Guadalupe Leyva Quiroz

Es autor de la metodología de emprendimiento Kid's Cap ©. Es miembro de la primera generación del Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) que fue lanzada por el Ex presidente de los Estados Unidos Barack Obama y actualmente se desempeña dentro del gobierno de la capital de San Luis Potosí.

Jesús Leyva es Licenciado en Negocios Internacionales por el Tecnológico de Monterrey, Participó en un programa de intercambio en la Schulich School of Business-York University en Canadá durante 2012 con una beca del gobierno de ese país (Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program, ELAP) y es uno de los mexicanos miembros de la Iniciativa Jóvenes Líderes de las Américas (YLAI) que es el programa insignia de emprendimiento del Departamento de Estado de EE.UU. para América Latina, El Caribe, Canadá y Estados Unidos. En 2017 asistió a Casa México en Austin, Texas como parte de la Selección de Emprendimiento Innovador del Instituto de Emprendimiento Eugenio Garza Lagüera donde participó en la competencia de pitch en el festival SXSW.

En septiembre de 2017 participó como mentor de YLAI MX en Ciudad Juárez que fue un programa para emprendedores impulsado por la Embajada de Estados Unidos e implementado por Green Momentum.

Ha colaborado durante 2017 y 2018 en distintos eventos con el Consulado de los Estados Unidos en Monterrey y el Consulado en Nuevo Laredo. En enero de 2019 fue seleccionado por la Embajada de Estados Unidos para recibir formación en un taller de emprendimiento social por parte de IESDE School of Management e iniciar un proyecto con el apoyo de la Embajada de los Estados Unidos.

Es mentor y asesor de programas Regionales de Emprendimiento Social Innovador del Instituto Eugenio Garza Lagüera del Tec de Monterrey en San Luis y participa con Ashoka México & Centro América en San Luis Potosí.

He is the author of the entrepreneurship methodology Kid’s Cap ©. He is a member of the first cohort of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI), launched by former President of the United States Barack Obama, and he currently serves within the government of the capital city of San Luis Potosí.

Jesús Leyva holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2012, he participated in an academic exchange program at the Schulich School of Business – York University in Canada, supported by a scholarship from the Canadian government (Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program, ELAP). He is one of the Mexican members of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI), the U.S. Department of State’s flagship entrepreneurship program for Latin America, the Caribbean, Canada, and the United States. In 2017, he attended Casa México in Austin, Texas, as part of the Innovative Entrepreneurship Selection of the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Institute for Entrepreneurship, where he participated in the pitch competition at the SXSW Festival.

In September 2017, he participated as a YLAI MX mentor in Ciudad Juárez, in a program for entrepreneurs promoted by the U.S. Embassy and implemented by Green Momentum.

During 2017 and 2018, he collaborated in various events with the U.S. Consulate in Monterrey and the U.S. Consulate in Nuevo Laredo. In January 2019, he was selected by the U.S. Embassy to receive training in a social entrepreneurship workshop delivered by IESDE School of Management and to initiate a project with the support of the U.S. Embassy.

He is a mentor and advisor for regional Innovative Social Entrepreneurship programs of the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Institute for Entrepreneurship at Tecnológico de Monterrey in San Luis Potosí and collaborates with Ashoka Mexico & Central America in San Luis Potosí.
