Hey there, I’m Jethro. I am based in Cape Town, South Africa. Voluntary work has played a big role in my adult life. My environmental work is primarily ocean-based. In addition to environmental work, mental health advocacy is very dear to my heart.

As of current, I work with Sentinel Ocean Alliance. SOA focuses on creating ocean-based opportunities for the youth in coastal communities, namely Hout Bay.

In the past I've worked with Sea Shepherd (onshore & offshore), Sea The Bigger Picture Ocean Initiative, SANCCOB Saves Sea Birds, and most recently on a documentary, The Last Shark Documentary.

In late 2018 freediving entered my life, and since then I have never looked back. Diving has provided me with a new insight into our oceans & it's inhabitants. When not diving, I spend time with friends, working on projects, camping in the Cederberg & exploring Cape Town.
