I spent the first eight years of my career at the bench of a pharmaceutical company generating ADME data. I then changed direction and moved into managing and mining scientific data for those at the bench. Data often answers questions that the data consumers don't know they have. It takes a different skill set to mine, transform and visualize data in a way that answers questions that should be asked. This is what I enjoy doing and since 2000, I have been helping scientists interrogate the data 'under the hood'.

I enjoy photography in my spare time. I generally shoot film on antique cameras. I enjoy the visceral nature of film photography as well as the necessity of 'slowing down'.
