Hello My name is Julia Walker, I am a freshman at Plymouth State University. I am currently undeclared but I'm interested in being either a therapist or something in the medical field. Since I was in second grade I have always wanted to take care of people and try to help them recover. Last summer I worked at a camp up at VA Beach. I worked with all ages of people, the job was the best for me because I grew as an adult. I became more responsible and more independent in the few months.

When I was in high school my church and I went to Kentucky to rebuild houses for people that could not afford to rebuild them. It was fulfilling and a pleasure to work and help people who have less and are as happy as can be. The several community activities I participated in helped me get a better understanding of the world and how so many people struggle. It has made me more open minded and conscience.

I want to tell you a few things about myself. The first thing I want to tell you about me is that I am a twin. My sister and I are not identical twins but a lot of people think we look a lot alike. I am one of five children in my family. All five us were born in Russia. Both my twin and I came to USA at the age of five and a half with our new family. Here is another interesting thing I think you should know about me. My favorite animal in the whole world are Red Foxes, I have always admired their elegance and beautiful red majestic coats.
