The Jewish Women Series™ was born from a simple yet powerful moment-a mother reading a children’s book and imagining something more meaningful for her child. One Tuesday, while reading about Amelia Earhart to her daughter, Serafina, Gila envisioned a collection of Jewish children’s books that celebrate the remarkable lives of Jewish women who brought light, courage, and change to the world.
She shared the idea with her sister Lieba, a writer, and together they brought that vision to life.
Created as a passion project, the Jewish Women Series™ offers Jewish picture books and stories about Jewish women designed to inspire pride, confidence, and a strong sense of identity in young readers. Each title is thoughtfully written as a meaningful Jewish bedtime story, making it easy for families to share values, history, and inspiration together.
These books are created for children growing up with a love for their heritage, stories that many families consider among the best Jewish children’s books for nurturing courage, curiosity, and connection. Through every page, Gila and Lieba hope to empower children to embrace who they are and believe that even the smallest light can brighten the world.
