Milan Jezic von Gesseneck, born 25.9.1949, married with daughter Gabriela and son Joseph, is a Belgian national with an engineering background working as a researcher at several institutes including the prestigious Osney lab at the University of Oxford. Milan has managed a wide spectrum of projects covering mixes of theory and practice, science and entrepreneurship, the highest-level strategy and hands on projects implementations, such as :
Assisting Ministry of Energy of China in power plants development strategy while acting as Managing Director of Hamon China. In agreement with OBCE and the Ministry of Development and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium establishing Chamber of Commerce Belgium and Luxembourg for South-Eastern Europe.Initiating and establishing Transatlantic cooperation in research and innovation between the European Commission and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Working with the EC on different projects such as organizing and chairing a series of conferences on Sustainable Energy in South-Eastern Europe, on the Energy Community Treaty, and on Road Safety in cooperation with the European Road Federation (ERF) as well as on scores of projects and proposals with EU funding mainly in the field of innovation, economic development and societal challenges.
Working on the measures to attract leading scientists to Russian Educational institutions, assisting in bridging science and business in Jordan, assisting Academy of Sciences of Moldova in better integration into the European Research Area, propelling innovation mainly for economic growth and competitiveness in green, blue & digital economies as the axis of integrated circular economy in the developing countries, SIDS and OCTs.
Developing scientific methodologies and special tools for implementing innovation while taking into account key, sometimes very different features and capacities of the particular territories and its stakeholders. Among others developing Systemic Innovation Foresight, establishing corresponding Systemic Innovation structured arrangement approach and developing unique 3 Pillars Blended Learning, competence building system.
