Jezreel Mangui is from Mogpog Marinduque, he is a graduate at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music pursued Bachelor of Music Majoring in Vocal Performance, Magna Cum Laude.
Baritone Joseleo Logdat discovered him after singing in Boac, Marinduque. He then performed with Mr. Logdat as a member of I Baritoni in several concerts in Manila, Naga, Ilo-Ilo, and in different part of the Philippines . He joined a masterclass of well-known Filipino-American tenor Arthur Espiritu and Grammy-nominated winner Rodell Rosel. Last December 2022, he was one of the soloists at the Christmas concert of the University of Santo Tomas titled: “Pananabik, Pagbabalik at Panunumbalik“ and December 2023 “Witnessing the Joy of Christmas.” He is also part of the UST Sampung mga Daliri Concert last April 2024 as a Soloist.
He performed solos and duets with other scholars of the Friends for the Cultural Concerns of the Philippines in Pasinaya at the GSIS Museo ng Sining. Jezreel Mangui also performed in the National Museum last March titled: “Illustrado,” made by the FCCP, where he performed the “Death Duet” by the National Artists Fides Asensio and Ryan Cayabyab. He also performed Mozart's Requiem at the University of Santo Tomas as a Tenor Soloist. Last July 2023, he gave a Music workshop in Kalibo, Aklan. He also performed there last October 2023 titled “PAGPASAEMAT: A Marian Concert” and December 2023 titled “JOYOUS: A Christmas Gala”. Jezreel also performed as a soloist in “The Concert at the Park” titled “Kalayaan“ with the Pasay City Symphony Band.
He has been a choirmaster of St. Isidore Labrador Parish of Mogpog, Marinduque, and the Father Edwin Memorial Foundation Choir of Gasan, Marinduque, Marillac Grantees of Santa Isabel College of Manila and Hospicio de San Jose Choir. He is now also a Voice Teacher and a performer at the Philippine Opera Company. Jay Mangui is also the Vocal Coach of Empire Music Ph, where he is coaching rising PPOP artists . He has been a scholar of the Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines since 2019.
