Jose Gerala

Introducing Jose Gerala, an enthusiastic member of the Prologis team, with a primary focus on meter management projects. Jose is currently pursuing a Masters in Analytics/Data Science at the University of Chicago, set to complete the degree in December 2023.

Before embarking on his data science journey, Jose gained valuable experience in the automotive industry, contributing to various continuous improvement projects and actively participating in production monitoring. This hands-on experience not only enhanced his analytical skills but also sparked his passion for problem-solving and process optimization.

Furthermore, Jose had the opportunity to work with a dynamic startup specializing in residential solar solutions. This role allowed him to delve into the fascinating world of solar energy, gain insights into sales strategies, and engage in the complete spectrum of solar project development, particularly within the Mexican market. Through this experience, Jose developed a deep appreciation for the transformative potential of renewable energy and its role in building a sustainable future.

Now equipped with a solid background in industrial engineering and a growing expertise in data science, Jose is excited to bring his unique perspectives and knowledge to the meter management and energy teams at Prologis. With a genuine commitment to Prologis’ ambitious sustainability goals, Jose looks forward to collaborating with each team member to make meaningful contributions.
