Jared Haftel is a Duke University graduate. He attended the school from 2005 through 2009. By the time of graduation, he had amassed bachelor's degrees in Science, Mathematics, and Economics. The three of which would be necessary for his foray into investment banking, his current career choice.

After a summer internship with Credit Suisse in 2008, Jared Haftel would land a job with Merrill Lynch, as an investment banking analyst. More recently, Jared Haftel has served as an investment banker for the Bank of America, as well as an associate for Vector Capital.

In these job roles, Jared Haftel has been able to conduct market research and analysis on commodities markets ranging from; metals, chemicals and general mining. He also researched and analyzed major energy and mining companies like console Energy, Geoeye and others. It is important to mention that in his analyst positions, he has conducted, analyzed market analysis for defense and aerospace industries.

His main skills includes investment banking, market research, Leveraged Buyouts Management (LBO's) Valuation expert in both Market Valuation, P/E and FCF techniques. He is also accomplished in financial modeling, having conducted business valuation, scenario planning, capital budgeting, WACC calculations, financial statement analysis, project finance and evaluations of mergers and acquisitions.
