Jhanavi Pathak

Born in CA, raised in FL, I'm a sun-soaking, water-loving gal. So naturally I went to college in Boston!

At MIT, I studied Finance, Marketing, and Operations Management. Over the past decade, I've worked on several startups, from the music world to healthcare, finance, packaged foods, and apparel. After working in fund management, venture capital, and consulting (TATA and McKinsey), I was ready to chase my dream of starting my own businesses.

These days, I'm a private consultant by day (and sometimes by night), while I'm launching a couple of awesome consumer products companies, and building my truest passion - The War On Cancer Foundation.

My dream? To marry my avocations with my vocation. At the end of the day, I love helping people. With the startups and businesses I consult on, I get to have fun creatively solving problems and helping people bring their dreams to life.

With my own businesses, I'm focused on taking some of the products we love most as consumers, and offering higher quality, longer lasting versions that serve a bigger purpose - funding The War On Cancer Foundation.

If money were no object? I'd pour myself into my foundation. And I'd travel the world. I'd visit every place I could get to and get my hands dirty. In a dream world, I have my own travel show. I get to connect with people through local food (so much fun to cook with and for others!), sports, music and dance. I'd love to go to a wedding in every country I visit. And I'd interview people. Just to hear their stories.
