你好! I am a researcher, engineer, musician, and swing dancer. I am currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the Institute for Sustainable Energy at Boston University. As a researcher, I study the forces that shape the development and adoption of energy-saving and environmentally-sustainable technologies, with a particular emphasis on China and electric vehicles. More broadly, my work addresses innovation and technology policy, measuring and modeling consumer preferences and market demand, discrete choice modeling, and sustainable transportation. My dissertation examines the development and adoption of plug-in electric vehicles in China with respect to market demand, firm innovation, and policy. I speak fluent Mandarin Chinese and have conducted extensive fieldwork in China, collaborating with colleagues at Tsinghua University, Beijing Normal University, and the State Information Center on past projects. Iam also an accomplished violinist and mandolinist, and an avid dancer of lindy hop, balboa, charleston, and blues. Thanks for stopping by and please visit my personal website to learn more about me.
