New York City

Jazmine Henley-Brown is a 23-year-old Journalist originally from Milwaukee, WI. After spending some time in Chicago, IL, and relocating back to Milwaukee, she is currently residing in New York City.

Jazmine started out in the fashion industry. She has co-produced small fashion shows and written fashion pieces, including the 2010 Fall Fashion forecast for ForColoredGurls.com, as well as a piece for The Fashion Revolution mini magazine. At the height of her fashion career, she was chosen to work for the prestigious Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.

Following Fashion week, she was hired as an intern for the fashion pr house People's Revolution. However, it was there that she realized that her calling was not in fashion, but in the music and entertainment industry.

Fast forward to today, she is now an editorial intern at VIBE Magazine. She was recently voted Editor-In-Chief of the VIBE Intern Magazine, "FEMME FATALE" (see it here: http://issuu.com/stacyannellis/docs/vibefemmefatale ). She is actively pursuing her journalism career, and her most recent work can be found in the latest issue of VIBE Magazine, & on Vibe.com, VibeVixen.com and GlossMagazineOnline.

She is currently working on her first book, scheduled to be published in early 2013. Also in the works is writing a children's movie and a television series. These projects only begin to scratch the surface of the goals that this creative young writer has set for herself.
