Jindrich Henry Henzl

I am a master student of International Trade and Commercial Communications willing to work in international event marketing.

My major specialization is International Trade at the University of Economics in Prague, the second best economics university in Central and Eastern Europe. My minor specialization is Commercial Communications. I am enthusiast for international relations, international business, marketing as well as marketing communication. Because of my background I am willing to work in international event marketing or management. There I can take advantage of my knowledge and skills gained during my studies and previous work experiences.

I am a member of the Student Club of Trade and Competitiveness (SKOK) which participates in the preparation of the Global Competitiveness Report of the World Economic Forum and I am a member of the PR & Marketing team. Before living abroad I used to be Vice President of SKOK.

From June to December 2015 I lived in Milan, Italy, where I got an internship at the EXPO 2015. I worked five months in the marketing communications department of the Pavilion of the Czech Republic at the EXPO Milano 2015, where I gained experience in marketing communications, especially in social media marketing and event marketing. Later I gained experience in the field of economic diplomacy in CzechTrade (the National Trade Promoting Agency of the Czech Republic), which promotes international trade and cooperation between Czech and foreign companies and provides practical assistance to Czech exporters abroad. I also gained experience in the field of diplomacy during my internship at the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Milan, Italy.

Currently I am studying at the University of Northern Colorado as an exchange student, where I am attending marketing and international business courses.

I believe that anyone has the ability to achieve great rewards and opportunities if they work hard and if they are not afraid to overcome obstacles. I am glad that I had the opportunity to live abroad several times, I have learned a lot and faced many obstacles during living outside of my comfort zone. I am sure that this has helped me to grow as a person, and it has changed me so that I am not afraid to face the challenges that lie ahead my future career.
