John Hickernell
John is very active in the community with both a business and nonprofit background. He has spent years in corporate communications, public relations and community relations and so has a good sense of the expectations and needs of businesses, their community, and their customers. While in corporate community relations John expanded community involvement programs across the United States, quadrupling employee involvement and engagement as well as expanding corporate programs into Canada, The United Kingdom, and Australia. John has worked substantially within the legal and medical communities improving their operations and increasing their clientele. He also knows how to organize large events for nonprofits involving up to 1000’s of individuals as well as how to develop new funding streams and innovative programs to help accomplish the mission of the organization. With two advanced degrees in communications and business, and being a lifelong learner, John brings his education, experience, and creative thinking to Image W3 in a way that will be of eminent benefit to your business in crafting its online presence. John was born in Southern California to an oil and gas family and after a number of relocations landed finally in Houston, Texas. John enjoys learning new things, reading, cooking and the chemistry of cooking, keeping in touch with and making new friends, and volunteering for causes he believes in. He is past president of The Houston Association of Volunteer Administrators, an active member of the Corporate Community Relations Council, a member of the Houston Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week planning committee, and a member of the advisory panel of the nonprofit Skills For Living.
