I was born and raised in El Paso, TX
Captain of my high school swim team, and as a senior, I qualified to swim 100 yard breaststroke at the Texas 5A swim at the University of Texas at Austin.
I moved to Dallas to study mechanical engineering at Southern Methodist University.
As an SMU student, I became involved with the live mascot when I tried out to be a Peruna Handler. Peruna, formerly ESPNs most dangerous live mascot, is an all-black Shetland pony, and the only mascot to ever kill another live mascot, the Fordham Ram. We ran this wild horse down the field after SMU touchdowns.
Upon graduation, I began my career as an IT consultant at Quorum Business Solutions. My wide range of responsibilities/specialties includes programming, software design, training clients, and general data analysis of natural gas volumes and billing data.
I keep myself pretty busy outside of work. I volunteer at the Scottish Rite Hospital to hang out with in-patient kids. I also play electric bass in the WAKE worship band at Watermark community church. For the 2012 NFL season, I took my mascot career pro as a flag runner for the Dallas Cowboys. I also am an avid mountain biker and enjoy my own brand of urban mountain biking when I don t have the time to get out of the city. I love watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
My future goals include starting my own consulting company, becoming a member of the main worship band at my church and someday living in a city where I can ride my bike everywhere and never have to drive my car.
