Jim Holland

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington (B.S. in Biology) and the University of North Texas (M.S. C.E.C.S.). I hold Texas teaching certificates in the areas of Life/Earth Science, Biology, Industrial Technology, and Technology Applications (EC-12). I am currently employed by the Arlington ISD in Arlington, TX as an Instructional Technology Specialist where I work with teachers and students to structure learning activities that support the acquisition of 21st century skills.

In addition, I am a co-writer of several published book series in technology education, including the Print, Cut, & Fold and Web 2.0: Hot Applications & Cool Projects series. I am frequently invited to present technology staff development throughout the country at various school districts and conferences based on my experiences and expertise.

Aside from my professional life, I enjoy my wife and two children and make time to play hard. I am active in my church's student ministry and enjoy other activities including reading, fitness, geocaching, music, board/card games, playing piano and sports of all kinds.
