James Hopkins
meteorologist in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Weather has always been a personal passion of mine and it shows through my enthusiasm and dedication to my career. I have 10+ years of experience and believe a weather forecast should be fun and exciting but, most importantly, informative. My philosophy and attitude towards a weather forecast is simple: report to the best of my ability in an accurate and complete weather forecast while focusing on information that impacts the viewer’s lives. As a meteorologist, I am ultimately accountable for the accuracy and content of my forecasts therefore, the ability to simplify complicated weather situations to the viewers in a manner that is easily understandable is imperative.
