Hey, I'm a student from near Hull currently studying chemistry at Oxford. I'm interested in all sorts and wanted to create this page to keep track of my own interests and aspirations more than anything else. Where to start? Firstly, with sport, I'm a huge football fan and have followed Hull City all my life through thick and thin. I also enjoy playing as well with my usual position being upfront. I'm a big advocate of badminton as well and usually play a few times a month when I'm home. To be honest, I've tried my hand at most sports and there's not many I haven't enjoyed. I'm an Olympics fanatic as well as all types of athletics. I'm a rugby league fan and have always supported Hull FC as well. I'm interested by all types of science, particularly physical chemistry and quantum mechanics, which I'm currently studying (or at least trying to). I find astrophysics fascinating as well and have always been in awe of the universe and our developing understanding of it. Obviously, my main area of interest is in chemistry, which I find very interesting and like to keep up to date with. As aforementioned, I really enjoy how quantum mechanics gives us an intricate picture of the universes fundamentals, and how we have used such a seemingly abstract concept to explain physical observables, such as MO Theory. I have a wide taste in music, TV and film. Music-wise, I listen to a lot of house/dub music, such as Nero, Daft Punk, etc. as well as D'n'b type mixes such as Prodigy, Pendulum, Chase and Status... That is not my restriction though as I'm one of those people who loves most kind of music, from the Lighthouse Famil to Red hot Chilli Peppers. Keeping it short fin terms of films, I've seen tonnes of films, and lots of horror films. I'm a huge fan of zombie films, especially Dawn of the Dead, Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead. My favourite TV programmes also range from sophisticated, like Only Connect and University Challenge, to far more trashy, such as Waterloo Road. In terms of politics, I'm definitely a floating voter and in all honestly, I'm not the most clued-up person and it doesn't particularly bother me at this stage in my life. I am however very interested in economics, but have a limited knowledge of the subject, but endeavour to change that in the forthcoming months. That's a very short summary of who am I (in a way) as I'm running out of words, I say that with trying to come across as narcissistic :P I hope you enjoy reading my page.
