I am an orthopaedic surgeon affiliated with FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine with expertise in surgical treatment of all neck and back disorders. As a world-renowned pioneer in minimal invasive spinal surgery, I have been at the forefront of new technologies such as Kyphoplasty, XLIF, and AxiaLIF. I have a conservative approach in the management of spinal disorders. I am the spine consultant to the Miami City Ballet and am a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the North American Spine Society, the Society of Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery, and the Florida Orthopaedic Society.
