Jiaxin Liu

Hi, I'm Jiaxin Liu, but I also go by Melody. I’m a very outgoing person, and love to be with my friends. I’m an avid hiker and cook, and I’m on the hunt for great food and eateries. Hiking is a very soothing event, and great exercise to help build perseverance. Cooking is relaxing and fun, and helps to draw out your creativity.I'm currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of California, Davis, and will be graduating in the fall of 2015. I had two internship experiences as a personal banker assistant at the Bank of China in Guangzhou, and these experiences have helped to develop my customer service abilities. My first internship was a basic assistant to a personal banker and taught me how to hold conversations with people and learn about other people’s interests quickly. By paying attention to small details and being organized with all the customers’ information will make you stand out from the myriad of people and options that these top clients have.I’m also very focused on working as a team. I had been on teams before, and my cross country team experience in high school was very meaningful to me. It taught me not just about how to work in a team but also team spirit. I believe most people have the ability to work in a team, but team spirit is what makes people take the extra step and exceed themselves. To me, team spirit consists of the silent urge that everyone gives each other, and just feeling their presence around you make you want to do better and exceed not just the people around you but also yourself. At important times, a silent urge will help you take the extra step that you think you cannot take any more. That was something I faced in cross country all the times, and the team around me helped me to always break my
