I am Jiaxin Shi who comes from China and hope to pursue a marketing major at Indiana University’s Kelley School ofBusiness.

My biggest hobby is traveling, because I believe traveling is the best way for me to expand my worldview. So far, I have been to many countries, but the one I like most must be Singapore, for that I love itspeaceful society and low pace lifestyle.

In school, I am a diligent and versatile person.Since primary school, I have always attained the best education in the topschools, through my persistent efforts, which were presented by my high GPA. However,always maintaining the satisfying grades does not mean I am a “bookworm”. Inhigh school, I enjoyed to engage in school activities such as athletic meetingand English speech. Also, in the college, I joined the “Global Scholar Program”to challenge my presentation skills.

Outside the school, I am aspiring in business. Aftergraduating from high school, I got an internship as a salesman in a new cinema.I found it was so hard to sell tickets and VIP cards to customers who were notfamiliar with the cinema. Then I realized to attract those customers, I notonly need convince customers of describing our obvious advantages beyond othercompetitors including the unique Dolby Surround and IMAX screens, but alsoshould take them to visit and experience the perfect environment. By followingthis method, I won the first selling prize and got 500 CNY bonus.

With all abilities I have owned and potential I amseeking, my dream career is to establish my own business.
