Jeremy Plüss

My passion for surfing started at the age of ten, when I

first caught the surf-bug. Fortunately, it was on the surfboard during family vacations that I got the opportunity to release the energy that kids have. My family eventually moved right beside the Lake of Biel, in Biel/Bienne, where now even in winter any minute I have I use to develop my Freestyle Skills.

At the age of 16 I was named “Rookie of the Event” at my first “Mondial du Vent”, in Leucate, France. After winning that title, I started taking windsurfing more seriously and got time off from school to train in more high-wind days. At 19 I entered my first Worldcup Events and also competed in all European Freestyle Pro Tour contests, where I was often able to out-do myself in the Heats compared to trainings with spectacular moves. My personal highlights of the past two years have been coming into the top 20 in the overall worldranking. After finishing school I started my career as Professional Windsurfer and International Rider of the Brands Tabou/GA Sails. Now I'm travelling all over the world to train, compete and produce my own windsurf movies.
