Since October 2020, Jigar Thakarar has served as managing director of marketing and partnerships with MusiCares. Supporting a range of emergency financial aid, addiction recovery, and general health programs, MusiCares is a charitable endeavor of The Recording Academy, the elite group of music industry professionals that also governs the Grammy Awards. Jigar Thakarar’s accomplishments over his relatively brief time at MusiCares include building strategic partnerships and leveraging existing sponsor outreach to meet multi-million fundraising goals.
Jigar Thakarar formerly led talent and influencer efforts as a vice president with United Entertainment Group and the founding CEO of Limitless Ventures. Earlier in his entertainment industry career, he served tenures as director of original content and branded entertainment with CBS Interactive, was a talent agent with Creative Artists Agency, and was development and integrated marketing associate with MTV Networks. Mr. Thakarar got his start as a talent agent as an agent trainee with International Creative Management.
