I have been in business my whole life, as I was born into a family in the gas station and auto repair business. I knew I wanted to stay in the oil business so I became a landman after studying accounting in college. I've been an Independent Landman for decades, stepped into the black gold known as coffee when I created Jilly Beans Coffee drive thru, and have now worked for several years as a life and health insurance agent.

I discovered while washing windows at the gas station that business involves relationship building, and, sometimes being like a counselor because there were no other ears to hear someone's trouble or joy (just me and my coffee drinkers)!
