Jillian Gonzalez with RE/Max Affiliates N.E. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is a REALTOR with heart. For Jillian, real estate was a way to provide a stable foundation for her family. “I was raising two children on my own and working three or four part-time jobs,” she explains. “I had always loved real estate but was afraid to work on commission only. I started working at a title company instead, but knew I wanted to be on the other side of the settlement table. After receiving my real estate license and growing my business I was finally to the point where I could leave my other jobs and focus solely on my real estate career.”

Since she received her license in 2006, Jillian has been steadily growing her business based on quality customer service and a genuine care for her clients. “I want my clients to be happy,” she says. “I enjoy having long conversations with my clients about what they need and want in their future home. I want to find the one that is just right for them. At the end of the transaction, I hope they’ll be so happy with my work that they invite me to the housewarming party,” she says laughing.

Her efforts have now yielded clients that will continue to come back to her again and again, and have helped to build a strong referral base for Jillian. “My neighborhood is a nice starter neighborhood,” she says. “It’s the kind of place you know you won’t be living in forever, but is a great location for young families and people just starting out in their careers. Patience is the most important thing in my business. I will work with my clients for as long as it takes to find the perfect home when they’re ready, and confident in their decision.”

In order to provide the highest quality service to her clients, Jillian is always looking for ways to increase her real estate knowledge. “There’s always something to learn in this business,” she says. “Things are always changing and you have to stay ahead of the market and new developments in the industry.” She is working on earning additional designations that can help her to educate her clients and to serve as an advisor for them.
