Jill’s love of design, and all things creative, was evident at an early age. Unlike most teenagers, she was very career focused and knew exactly what she wanted. After leaving school she went onto to study advertising and design in Tameside College (Manchester). She then embarked on a career that saw her work in two of the top three advertising agencies in Manchester over the next 15 years. Involved in several multi-million pound campaigns across TV, press and radio. Her ambition was always to have her own agency, and in 1997, she went into partnership and formed GCP Direct. Assisting large retail brands to migrate to a multi-channeled environment, specifically mail order and the Internet. In only two years, they grew from four to 28 employees. With clients such as Littlewoods Home shopping, Shop Direct, Marks & Spencer, Gratten, Fashion World, JD Williams, Rediscovered Origionals, B&Q;, Homebase, Argos Additions and Disney, GCP soon caught the attention of some bigger agencies on the acquisition trail. In 2000, they agreed a sale to Fi System. As part of the deal, Jill was asked to stay on as Creative Director, a role she enjoyed for another three years. In need of a new challenge, Jill decided to start over and set up a new agency. For professional and personal reasons, she moved to Ireland in 2005 and established Passion for Creative. Her main aim was to help small and medium enterprises achieve commercial success through strong and creative branding. As for the agency itself, it has grown significantly in the four years since its foundation, due to extensive networking and positive referrals. With over 50. clients nationwide, it has fast become a leading provider of advertising, marketing and design services to companies of all sizes in all sectors.
