Jillian Richard

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I have three brothers and growing up we had three dogs, one cat and a bird. Early in life I developed a very special bond with animals, being a middle child and the only girl I often found peace and love with my pets when things got chaotic. I got involved with sports as a youngester and was very active in softball and cheerleading, in high school I was introduced to Springboard diving which carried me through college with a scholarship. I attended the University of the Incarnate Word where I was the first springboard diver to get recruited and graduate, completing all 4 years as an athlete. I graduated with a B.S. in Athletic Training (Sports Medicine not Personal Training), but soon learned that it wasn't my passion. After graduation I moved back to Houston in search of a job, the only experience I had in the work force where the serveral different kennels and rescue groups I worked for throughout high school and college. During my search for work I quickly learned that Pet Care is where I needed to be, however I have worked at the bottom for long enough and was ready to branch out on my own. So, my beloved little man, Goose (a lab/greyhound mix) inspired me to creat my own pet sitting business. And thus Silly Goose Pet Care was established!
