I started out as a New York City lawyer, but discovered that what I love is personal history — of people I know, places I’ve lived and communities where I belong. Learning what was to understand what is.

My passion for personal history became serious when I created a tool called Twigs and Tales. After genealogy classes and family history research left my dad and I scratching our heads, wondering about the stories of the relatives who came before us, we dreamed of a web-based tool that would help people save their stories and share them for generations-to-come.

Through Safekeeping Stories, I will share all I have learned in pursuing my passion.

Both Safekeeping Stories and Twigs and Tales have helped me understand my story and pass it on.
