Student and Seeking employment for Management Analytics in Denver, Colorado
Hello! My name is Jill Zamarripa and I am a recent graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I have always held an interest into how a company operates and workplace culture, I hope to pursue this interest with a company that values a strong workplace culture.
I have experience working in a human resources office and held multiple leadership positions throughout different organizations. I have held positions through my social sorority and the Panhellenic Council for Fraternity and Sorority Life at UNCO. I first noticed that I was interested in the internal structure of my sorority early on in college. I remember saying to myself, "Why don't they try this" or "I bet this would work." So I took over a leadership position my freshman year. I curiously asked older members why we didn't do a task a certain way and gained great insight. After making a few changes of my own, I was able to see the stress of others in my organization disappear. Having the freedom to make changes or use a different approach to a situation gave me the confidence to seek out more flexible or efficient ways for doing things. I was able to help others achieve their goals and that was a great feeling, and one I continued to seek out through my other leadership roles over the years.
I love the feeling of helping someone or an organization do what they do better whether that be through digital marketing, the flow for internal processing, or connecting with clients or the community. Clear communication is essential for the growth of any organization and I have been able to exercise my communication skills through my organizations. I am eager to enter the workforce and know that I will be able to add value to an organization.
