Jim Little

St. Louis, Missouri

My name is Jim Little, and since I am an undiscovered talent in the world of improv and comedic acting I have to write my own bio.

I can tell you my first introduction into the world of acting started in the second grade with two outstanding performances. The first was playing the part of an old man with a cane, and the second was playing a bright star, no really, I actually played a bright star in the night sky. Both plays ended in a roaring applause from all the parents in the audience.

The rest of my childhood and early teenage years was consumed with watching any movie that had Steve Martin in it, or any actor from the first cast of Saturday Night Live. Then I would act out the funniest parts of the movie in the living room of my house to my family audience.

You have to understand I lived in a small town in northeast Missouri growing up and until I was a freshman in high school we had a black and white TV set that got 2 channels. We had to create our own entertainment.

In high school I took drama class and remember writing a big report on the Broadway musical CATS, staring in our own music video of ZZ Tops Sharp Dressed Man, and a scene from the Broadway musical Oklahoma.

Recently I had decided to take some improv classes and did a showcase in front of an audience with some other people in the class. I loved it, and was told by people in the audience that I was really good and asked me how long I had been doing it. What can I say I have always enjoyed entertaining people and making them laugh. I would love to make a living at it.
