Jim Starmer

Greensboro, North Carolina

On March 2, 1914, my Grandfather Jack Starmer and his Father-In-Law Frank Snyder opened Dixie Sales Company for business. Today, with a new name and continued growth, Servantage Dixie Sales has five locations in the United States and Canada.

Our business has evolved over the years as our partners have grown and needed new and different dimensions of service. We now are able to provide more services than ever before for our clients and we are more integral than ever to the total brand experience for many of North America’s finest brands.

Our current name explains not only what we do but how we do it. Our mission is to provide our customers with a service advantage over their competition. Each day we leverage our service advantage to create seamless overall brand experiences for our broad range of customers across the continent.

I hope you will join us in 2014 in celebrating our 100th year in business, a milestone only a handful of companies ever reaches. Thank you for helping make this possible.

Jim Starmer has worked at Dixie Sales Company and Servantage Dixie Sales since July 1, 1969 and has substantial experience in the outdoor power equipment and parts distribution industry. He maintains significant industry contacts that serve Servantage Dixie Sales well in the Outdoor Power Equipment marketplace. Mr. Starmer is a graduate of Wake Forest University and has served on numerous industry boards and advisory councils.
