Jim Braman

I am a hardware design engineer for IBM's Power8 processor team. I have been at IBM 4 years, since attending NC State's Computer Engineering graduate school. Recently, my focus has shifted slightly to business. I currently attend courses at NC State's Research Triangle Park classroom two nights a week. I am specializing in Consulting Services with an expected MBA graduation in Fall 2012. I am a former marathon runner and triathlete, having completed the Boston, NYC, DC, Tampa, and Charlotte marathons as well as the Florida Ironman 70.3 in Orlando. My best time in the marathon was 2:49 in DC's Marine Corps Marathon in 2007.
