Jim DeLorenzo

Philadelphia, PA

I’m the owner & sole proprietor of Jim DeLorenzo Public Relations, which I launched in July 1999. Among my current clients are DermaMed Solutions and dmSkincare, ESPN Founder Bill Rasmussen, U.S. Olympic Rowing hopeful Kate McKettridge, ModSolar and “Ben Franklin Today.” I’ve been “quietly” building one of the most successful, independent Public Relations consulting businesses in the Greater Philadelphia media market, with extensive experience “getting the story out” for small businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs, with clients in a diverse variety of industries including sports, entertainment, technology, professional services and financial services. I have successfully earned media coverage for my clients in a wide variety of outlets, including nationally-syndicated radio shows such as “Sports Byline USA,” “Coast to Coast with Art Bell, and “The Dennis Miller Show,” and on FOX News, ESPN and other cable and broadcast television outlets. My local, regional, and national media contacts have led to coverage for my clients in the New York Times, the Sports Business Journal, Philadelphia Business Journal, Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News, Main Line Today Magazine, 6ABC Action News, FOX 29 Good Day Philadelphia, CBS 3 Eyewitness News, NBC 10 News, Fast Company, SMART CEO, and numerous other print publications and websites. Prior to starting my own firm, I was the Director of Public Relations for US Interactive, Inc. Previously, I was Publicist for an International men's senior tennis circuit, the Champions Tour (also known as The Nuveen Tour) that featured Jimmy Connors, Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe and other legendary tennis champions. My public relations career began at my collegiate alma mater, Villanova University, where I capped my 11-year tenure with the Wildcats' Athletic Department as their Sports Information Director/Director of Media Relations from 1990 through 1995.
