Jim Dennis

Jim Dennis is a renowned Bay Area based photographer whose work has spanned over thirty years. As a seasoned photographer who has become famous as a result of images taken of music legends, health and wellness, landscapes, nudes, and corporate entities Dennis' work has been exhibited at national venues including: Kodak Gallery, Museum of Science and Industry, The Oakland Museum, and other national institutions. As an international photographer Jim Dennis has shot on location in Haiti, Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii, France, Italy, Britain, Bahamas, Brazil, Costa Rica and the Ivory Coast.

Starting his professional career in the 70's with Eastman Kodak, Dennis photographed people and places across the world: The Taj Mahal in India; life in Morocco; cultural portraits in Turkey. He has also photographed the Indy 500, Grand Prix, and the Democratic National Convention. Jim studied under Ruth Bernhard and has taught photography during workshops and for academic institutions such as The Academy of Art College in San Francisco.
