I founded Farnam Associates, LLC in 2010 after 21 years as a partner in Holt, Wexler, & Farnam, LLP.

I enjoy my work with engaged people addressing our community and society's most pressing issues. In my consulting work over 32 years, I have regularly brought together diverse interests to solve complex problems and address systemic challenges.

I am currently working on comprehensive community revitalization, prison reentry, K-12 education, helping recruit and support more persons of color and women into STEM fields, and various workforce initiatives. I serve as consultant to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston on the Connecticut Working Cities Challenge and as the One Stop Operator for the South Central Connecticut Workforce Investment Board.

In recent years, I have worked on the development of community data systems and the application of data to inform planning and policy. As a co-founder of the Connecticut Data Collaborative, I helped develop www.ctdata.org, a web site to make important data and powerful tools available to all sectors.

I am Vice Chair of the board of Gather New Haven, an innovative urban agriculture, health, and environmental organization featuring support for 50 community gardens, seven small urban farms, a summer environmental camp serving 250 children, six nature preserves, and an award-winning Farm-Based Wellness Program for low income persons at high risk of diet-related diseases.

I am also an amateur videographer interested in telling stories about family and community.

I am always looking for interesting assignments with committed individuals and organizations.

Drop me a line if you need assistance in realizing your project or program or just to connect ([email protected]).
