I taught Life Science, Math and was a member of the District English Learner Advisory Committee. I used Apple IIc, Apple IIe at school and the new Mac Plus computers at the District office.
Delta Sierra Middle School - Lodi Unified 1989-96
I was on the District's Technology Committee starting the first year I was at the school. I taught Life Science, Earth/Physical Science and Math. I taught Microsoft Works at various district trainings. I participated in a multi-disciplinary team for 8 years. We wrote 2 successful Service Learning grants. While at Delta Sierra I received both my Language Development Specialist Certificate and Bilingual, Crosscultural, Language and Academic Development Certificate (BCLAD).
Johansen High School - Modesto City Schools 1996-2005
I taught Spanish, Biology, Biology (in Spanish), Earth Science, SDAIE Earth Science and was a Technology Mentor for 2 years. I helped write the Digital High School grant, was a Master Trainer for the Intel Teach to the Future Program, provided training classes for SCOE on FrontPage and Dreamweaver and was a member of the SCOE CSU Stanislaus Technology in Education Collaboration.
