As an industrial designer and lifelong entrepreneur, Jimi Beach launched Buffalo Research and Development (Buffalo RD) in 2012 as a concept-to-market product development company based in Orlando, Florida. Its first two patented products, LIFESHIRT (Personal Safety Device) and STREETLOGIC (On-Demand Delivery Tech) both launched in 2018.
In addition to designing innovative products for the tech market, Mr. Beach has successfully launched and sold companies – primarily using his patented inventions – in various fields such as: life safety devices, distilled spirits, designer decor, and within the entertainment industry. He is hands-on in every aspect of the design/build process and has scaled several supply chain and manufacturing programs both domestically and in factories throughout Asia and Europe. He has been noted as “an energetic global brand developer with a track record of success in building significant brand equities focused primarily on high design and usability”.
He is twice a winner of the Design of the Times award, the highest acknowledgement from the Path to Purchase Institute, a global association recognizing excellence in communication between retailers and brands. This is in addition to achieving other top industry awards for product design, merchandising, and inventive marketing programs. In recognition of his achievements in various industries, Jimi has been featured on CNBC’s The Big Idea, has mentored participants for ABC’s Shark Tank, and has been quoted as a Millennial marketing specialist in the New York Times, Brandweek, BizBash, and Packaging Design Magazine, among others.
