I passionately lead innovation in technology, rich media, and strategic social media. An IT Director, writer, videographer, and social media creator and analyst, have an interest in the use of media and social media in political environments.

In 2014 selected in the Top 30 Technologists, Transformers and Trailblazers across America by the Center for Digital Education, in 2013 received the CNN iReport Spirit Award and also was guest presenter for TEDx Talks on the topic of Digital Storytelling.

As an EDUCAUSE Leading Change Fellow, I strive to search out new innovative ways to use technology to enhance teaching and to engage learners.

I have a deep interest and background in the creation and strategic dissemination of social and rich media, learning space design, and emerging technologies. I lecture and consult with universities, organizations, and companies worldwide. I am a technologist, global journalist, film maker, and communicator with my work appearing in major news outlets including CNN, MSNBC, Forbes, NPR, and numerous blogs.
