Jim Knapp

Now 66, Jim was recruited and educated by IBM at the age of 15 and later served in the United States Air Force as a teacher for missile computer guidance systems.
He founded U.S. publicly traded I/NET Inc. in 1982. It was a pioneer in digital imaging and voice recognition software. Jim sat as an early IBM representative to the JPEG standards committee. I/NET later developed the Internet web server technology for one of the first online securities trading firms in the United States. Jim has spent the last twenty three years in the Cayman Islands. He is now the owner and Managing Director of Endless Energy - Cayman's largest renewable energy provider.
In 1989, Mr. Knapp served under President Reagan as a technology representative on the National Security Forum and in 1995 under President Clinton as a delegate to the White House Small Business Conference on Education and Training in the 21st Century.
A featured speaker at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Harvard Business School, Mr. Knapp holds a BA in Physics and a BBA Degree from the University of Maryland USAF-EEI.
