Jim Le is a Franco-American based in Paris for the past nine years. He currently works locally as a freelance Production & Project Manager and Translator, having worked for such companies as Storner Prod, French Connection Films, Nomadic Films, Nicholas Berglund, and at film festivals, including Jules Verne Film Festival and The American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival.
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, he studied film production at the University of Arizona’s School of Theatre, Film & Television and graduated with a BFA in Media Arts and a BA in French.
Following his studies, Jim moved to Paris, where he worked on several documentaries produced for Arte, OCS, Ushuaïa TV and France Télévisions, before going into commercial work, working with such clients as L'Oréal, Armani, Garnier, Lancôme, and Margiela.
Jim also wrote and directed the short film, L’Américain (2012), which was an official selection at the Palm Springs International ShortFest and Côté Court Short Film Festival.
