Attorney and entertainment industry executive Jim Lefkowitz has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Having held positions with many prominent companies, such as Walt Disney Studios, Creative Artists Agency, and Cantor Fitzgerald, Jim Lefkowitz utilizes his legal, managerial, and financial skills across a wide range of entertainment sectors.
Jim Lefkowitz started his career as an lawyer at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP in Los Angeles, California. Jim Lefkowitz subsequently moved on to Walt Disney Studios, joining the company as an attorney before being promoted into a role as a business affairs executive. Jim Lefkowitz negotiated talent contracts, helped arrange film financing facilities, and negotiated to acquire the film rights for books, plays, and movie remakes. In executing these deals, Jim Lefkowitz worked with Touchstone Pictures, Hollywood Pictures, and Walt Disney Pictures.

After leaving Walt Disney Studios, Jim Lefkowitz worked at Creative Artists Agency for eight years, working as an agent representing writers, directors, and actors involved in film, television, and new media productions. Jim Lefkowitz then shifted his focus back to film finance and business management, acting as Managing Director of Cantor Entertainment, a division of global financial services provider and investment bank Cantor Fitzgerald. While at Cantor, Jim Lefkowitz oversaw the Hollywood Stock Exchange, a web-based, multi-player game with over 1.5 million lifetime users.

Most recently, Jim Lefkowitz co-founded Mandalay Media, Inc., a new media distribution and content company dedicated to producing and publishing digital entertainment. As the Chief Operating Officer of the company, Jim Lefkowitz helped launch the enterprise in 2007. By 2009, the generated gross revenue of $40 million.
