Jim Lippold

Spokane, Washington State

Born & reared in Woodstock, Illinois, attended Northern Illinios University, was a Consciencious Objector who was drafted into Alternative Civilian Service where I founded a nonprofit drop-in center for teens. Then moved to Denver, Colorado and worked in a psychiatric hospital for a few years. Graduated from Metropolitan State University with a BA in Behavioral Science (Psychology-Sociology-Anthropology). Moved to Washington State and attended Eastern Washington University and graduated with a Master of Social Work degree. Was the executive director of a county community mental health center and later the exectuvie director of a nonprofit agency that served seniors helping them to continue to live in their homes. I taught graduate school classes for 12 years in Social Policy and Programs and Organizational Leadership. I am currently semi--retired with some work as a legal expert witness.
