Jim Mitchell

Hi, I am a criminal defense attorney working for the Public Defender in Clearwater, Florida. I am most proud of the fact that the State Attorney once called my boss and threatened to assign 35 assistant state attorneys to my trial cases. I told my boss that still wouldn't be a fair fight, they need at least 70 assistant state attorneys before I'll break a sweat!

I graduated from Stetson College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. Before for law school I was a computer programmer/systems analyst in Atlanta Georgia. I graduated from the University of Georgia, GO DAWGS!!! I also attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, and the University of Maryland in Munich, Germany. I graduated from the Department of Defense High School in Frankfurt, Germany, and attended high school in Romulus, New York.
