I currently reside in Alabama where I work as a communications consultant to professional and college athletic teams and government agencies. I also serve as Chairman of an association of non-profit agencies. Previously, I was V.P. of Corporate Communications and later Senior Adviser at NFL Alumni.
As a Communications & PR expert, I have led the strategic direction and development of integrated Public Relations and Communications efforts for teams, organizations and players at every level.
"Where there is no strategy your message will perish" is a statement I coined within my teams and has become a commonly used mission statement in PR circles. The inspiration for the strategy quote comes from a bible passage in Proverbs 29:18 "Where there is no vision, the people perish." Both are important to successfully communicating to your targets.
