Educator, Student, and Friendly Counseling in Colorado

Hey there! Welcome to my page. ( ;

I was born and raised primarily in Texas, so you can imagine what I tell the students when they ask what I am. Graduating from Plano West Senior High School, I found my passion in the field of education. Recently graduated from Texas A&M University at Commerce with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology, I am working on my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I will be attending University of Colorado in at Boulder for a Doctorate in Educational Psychology.

Just finished my 6th, and final, year as an AVID (Achievement Via Individual Determination) Tutor at McKinney and Plano ISDs; my other work experience includes 3 years of substitute teaching for Forney ISD and I am currently a Substitute Teacher for Plano and Carrollton-Farmer's Branch ISDs.

Despite working on my Teaching Internship for 2015-2016, I have ample field experience in the classroom already, utilizing many of the AVID Programs Rigor and WICOR in my teaching style. I also take a warm, positive community approach to my classroom with my Progressive Romantic educational philosophy.
